Maclaren Twin Techno

It’s a different proposition to a tandem pushchair. Both children are able to see the world and can even turn and play or babble with each other. If you get a Phil and Teds, one child is behind and has a very restricted view of whats going on.

Seats Recline Separately
Another great point is that the seats recline independently of one another. So if one baby is feeling tired you can just lie that side down. There is also an extendable leg rest which makes things even more comfy.

Maclaren Techno Xlr

As a general rule Maclaren pushchairs are awesome, which makes the Maclaren XLR totally awesome! It’s suitable from birth, easy to fold and really easy to push and steer.

Great For Good Quality Sleep
The XLR ticks all the boxes for me. It’s lie flat which means good quality sleep for your baby. It has a versatile sun visor which can be extended and moved around to stop the sun getting in little eyes, this is really helpful when baby is sleeping.

Adjustable handles mean that taller dads aren’t suffering with their backs.

Phil And Teds Sport

Phil and Teds make very popular pushchairs. The concept and design are excellent, but the build quality occasionally falls a little short of what you might expect at this price.

The Sport uses their clever design which allows use as a single pushchair or as an inline tandem with the addition of the doubles kit. Adaptability is the strong suit of the Sport. It’s what persuades lots of mums and dads that it’s the right choice.

Rather than buy a single pushchair and then a double later on have a think about this.

A great single or twin stroller, from Phil And Teds.

Great Build Quality
I’ve always liked this range of pushchairs. The build quality is excellent and the tubular frames are manufactured to be really strong. Although a friend of mine took one on holiday and had the frame bashed up… the airline shall remain nameless, but it was definitely a case of handler rage.

Pram System
As a pram, most will agree that the Silver Cross 3d does look lovely. It has a traditional kind of style and oozes prestige. You will get compliments on how it looks and that is always a nice feeling for mum.

Supremely comfortable
As a pram it is supremely comfortable and well padded for newborns. The ability to lie your newborn flat in in such comfort is where the 3D excels.

However, in the long run you may be better served buying a modern travel system built to cope with more demands. For a closer look
